Weston voters pick Will Haskell, Anne Hughes

Will Haskell defeated incumbent Toni Boucher on Tuesday night.  From the Hartford Courant:

Haskell faced a monumental challenge in defeating Boucher, a popular moderate Republican from Wilton. The seat has been held by Republicans since the 1970s, though Hillary Clinton won the district by 22 percentage points in 2016.

“He outworked his opponent,” Westport democratic town committee chair Ellen Lautenberg said.

Also, Anne Hughes won the 135th state house district, defeating incumbent Adam Dunsby.  More in the Danbury News Times.
