IMPORTANT UPDATE:  Last night, the Board of Finance voted 4-3 for a revised Capital Budget, which will now go back to the town for a second Referendum vote on Saturday May 18th. (also see info for absentee ballots below)
Snapshot: The new proposal, moved by BOF Chair Mike Imber restored 3 of 4 Capital budget line items ($450,000) excised at the ATBM from the originally approved BOF budget. The items added back included funding for sidewalks, engineering & planning funds for replacing the Town Hall modular annex, and more. This has been an unprecedented budget season for many reasons. What last night’s Board of Finance meeting clearly demonstrated was the dedication of our elected Board Members for responsible governing, problem-solving and listening to the voters. With a goal of keeping important projects and initiatives moving forward.

The opposition to the REVISED budget is REAL and they’re ready to go. This budget battle can end and forward progress for Weston can begin on May 18th with a YES vote.  Let’s move forward. VOTE YES.

Absentee Ballot (AB) voting:
ABs are available today at Town Clerk’s office
Friday, May 10 – Friday, May 17 from 9 am – 4:30 PM
*For the referendum (only), you can also be a designee to pick up one for other members of your household if they can’t vote in person.
